Black River is priviledged to have Cosmo visit our facility while his owner is deployed over seas.  Sire of Cosmo is our very own Rhesa Abijah and his dam is Ailish Ionait Naive.  Born April 3rd of 2008, Cosmo at time of these new pictures is 8 months of age and already achieved the height and weight of the bullmastiff standard.  We have high expectations for a planed litter with Cosmo and one of our up and coming females. 

Cosmo is fun loving, amiable to all who are willing to interact with him, full of energy and mischeif while outside, and brimming with manors inside. 

Cosmo special job is to train the new pup; who he is idolized by.

Black River now has a full brother to Cosmo.  Sire of this guy is Rhesa Abijah and his dam is Ailish Ionait Naive. He is a vivid red brindle. We are very excited to have him. He was the only pup in his litter and weighed in at 2 lbs. at birth. We call Him Milton.

Ailish is solid muscle; she has developed into a robust specimen of a bullmastiff. Ailish’s character can be defined in one word amiable; for she is wholly pleasant, good-natured, sociable and charming; that is among people.  In her eyes, the world loves her. If not at first sight she will win your heart over by dancing for you. 
Ailish “the tank” is a different matter all together; although she is amiable, her peers do not perceive her as so.  The Tank tends to be clumsy and lives up to the reputation of bull.   Unaware of her own power, she tends to take her play to an intense level with her peers. She is consistently knocking them off balance and to the ground or into the fence, so her play times with the others tend to be limited, as they can only love her to death for short periods of time.  We love her all the time!
